Hot Wheels

Hot Wheels cars and different vehicles are graded on a very strict scale by most collectors and the terms mint and carded are held to a higher standard.
A mint loose car is one that is the same as if had just been removed from the card with little or not flaws.

A carded vehicle is one that the car is in mint condition inside of a mint condition unpunched card. The values posted in this guide follow the guidelines set forth in the above paragraph.

Hot wheels sold at auction on ebay as used toys will have a lower value with some minor exceptions for rare vehicles. The values generally will bring about 10 to 25% of the mint value provided the item is in good condition, and in some instances even less due to the volume of toys on the market.

The Hot Wheels guide is set up first by the year for redlines and mainstay vehicles from 1968 to 1989 As listed below. Please click on the year you wish to view.
