"Real Price Guides Newsletter"

This newsletter will not be a daily or weekly issue but one that relates to news that is important to the collecting of the items I have on this website. This newsletter relates to the economy and the values I have listed with the diferent potteries and toy companies.

There is no doubt the economy has had an impact on collecting and will continue to have an impact through 2010. Of course the serious collectors with money are going to continue to collect the high end items for investments and with todays market they are going to be the ones to come out in the long run. Still there are hundreds of mid level pieces that are going fairly cheap on eBay and would make great investments long term.

The values I have posted on this website are not going to be changed as there to many to even attempt to change. What I am going to relate to the collecting world in general is that the values stated should be devalued by at least 30 to 40% at this time on all items across the board. On the values of Roseville Pottery Pieces there has been some lower prices reflected in recent sales but overall the devalued prices should be no lower than 20%.  On the lower valued pieces at this time I would suggest storing them or if you have to take a loss and recover storage space.

RPG is being updated with new links to allow the users to click on images and view a larger image. Dead links are being removed as I find them and anyone finding dead links it would be greatly appreciated if you would email me as the website is so large and I am but one person. I am working on adding depression glass to the website as soon as possible along with Weller and Fulber potteries.
