Real Price Guides is an on line price guide for sixteen different Potteries and toymakers. We are not a clearinghouse of links to other sites or other links. There are thousands of toys and pieces of pottery listed with new additions as I have the time to update the site. The site includes the history of the potteries and toy makers as I have researched them. There are thousands of images of individual pieces with values included. The site is dedicated to values and research of pottery and toys for the collector and the person who sells online.

My background includes over 40 years of collecting and working different formats of auctions, yardsales, fleamarkets. I am not an expert on pottery or toys but I am very good at collecting data and presenting it in a format the average person can understand and use on the internet. If you are looking for a hardback or softback book on collecting then you won't find it here. This site provides real price guides on line with all the same pictures and information as the hardback and softback books on the market today at a fraction of the cost.

I have dedicated a lot of time in developing this website on my own time traveling thousands of miles with no financial support or support in developing the code for this site. The site has been a members only site for the priceguides but due to economy we all face in the future thanks to living under a republican rule for the last eight years I am opening the entire site up for a period of one year so everyone can have the opportunity to use the site. The site will open up to the general public January 15, 2009.
