The oval platter was produced from 1938 to 1969 and has two different measurements. Before 1947 the platter was 12 3/4 inches long, after 1947 the size was changed to 12 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches thick. Generally marked with "Genuine fiesta". Colors were cobalt blue, ivory, light green, red, turquoise, and yellow, chartreuse, forest green, gray, rose, medium green. The POST 86 issues are in 3 sizes 2 smaller and 1 larger than the original platter. |
