Pottery Signatures

Hull pottery

Hull Pottery had numerous signatures on their pottery with some good attributes. One, a lot of the pieces had numbers and letters of the alphabet that allows you to determine the pattern name, the size and the number of the piece.

Some pieces also had the name of the pattern signed on the bottom of the piece making identification easy. Hull pottery utilized, embossed and incised marks to identify their products. The following are some of those marks. This covers a large majority of the pottery marks but I am sure not all.
