 Candle numbers

Roseville Pottery has produced numerous lines over the years with one constant,
the pieces were numbered or marked after 1936. Before this era there was a random use of marks
and generally no marks at all. Since new collectors or people who just pick up a random
piece have no idea of all the names or styles RPG will list all Roseville pieces by their number.
The numbers on the bottom of Roseville pottery represent a shape number and usually accompanied
with another number representing the size normally in inches. (Ex. 603-10)

This guide represents the majority of Roseville pottery items with numbers. Values are for general condition pieces with the usual  scratches and rub marks associated with old pottery. Of course chips and broken pieces are not valued in this guide.
Mint condition values are not realistic as there are more general condition pieces on
the market than what is called a mint piece. Each value is for one item only unless noted otherwise as for candlestick holders
and cup sets.
This guide is set to allow the user to search by picture or by number to find the item. There are over
1300 pictures of different vases, jardinieres, wallpockets and candlestick holders for the
user to search. The pictures are also listed by the number first and then the shape or name of the piece.
The pictures start with the number 1 and continue through the fnally numbers of the 1300 series.

The main focus of the guide is the Roseville by the numbers section which represents years of collecting data
on Roseville pottery. This section allows the user to connect the number on the bottom of the pottery
piece with a name and a value. The data in this section covers the company shapes from the early 1900s to the
mid fifties at the closing of the company plus a few of the earlier pieces
