Roseville by the numbers is a comprehensive listing of numbers relating to the shapes of the different items produced by Roseville Pottery.
The numbers relate to a specific shape and in most cases to a specific style or line such as Water Lily or Rozane. There are a lot of inconsistences in these numbers and I have attempted to keep the listings as simple as possible.
The numbers were not displayed on the bottom or back of Roseville Pottery until the thirties on a consistent basis and even then not on all products. However the numbers were always a means for production at the factory to keep track of the products before the thirties even if they were not placed on the product.
In some cases a certain number will represent two or three different styles or shapes. The number 321-6 may be present for different styles. Remember if you have the number and the vase you can ID it with this guide either by the numbers list or by going to the pictures section.
The numbers placed in this guide along with their perspective styles or lines is not fool proof and without a doubt has a few numbers different people will say are wrong but for the most part the numbers are going to be correct. If there is a problem with a number please contact RPG so we can correct it if we have placed a number wrong.
THIS SECTION WILL START WITH THE SINGLE DIGIT NUMBERS, THEN THE DOUBLE DIGIT NUMBERS AND THEN WILL START WITH THE 3 DIGIT NUMBERS STARTING WITH THE NUMBER 100 THEN THE NUMBER 200 AND SO ON.
