Grading Scale and related information
This scale is based on Little Golden records alone.
(Records without the cover even mint will have a value between Fair and good only.)
Mint/Near Mint - as shipped from factory no faults or damages. Activities and inserts are intact.
Excellent - Very good clean tight cover with no writing on or marks. Minor scuff marks. Record is still NM
Good - May have some minor writing on the inside of book with minor wear and soiling of covers. Missing activities and inserts. Good tight binding. Minor wear on edges and corners. Record has some scuffs and minor scratches with wear to the labels.
Fair - May have some creases, cover may be soiled with some corner and edge wear with some tears and rips on the edges. Writing with crayon and pencil is visible on cover. Record is fair with wear on labels with scratches and scuffs. most of the shine is gone from the record. Will have noise when played
Poor -
A record not taken care of with worn cover with damage to edges and
corners. Record has wear to labels and vinyl. noisy record. Has value
only if rare edition.
