The first 12 records produced beginning in 1948 were in a bi-fold sleeve with the record fitted in a slot. the sleeve measured 6 3/4 inches by 8 inches. Front of the sleeve displayed a partial yellow circle with the record information inside the circle. (Example)
The 78 rpm records were 6 inches in diameter and the 45 rpm records were 7 inches in diameter.
The first 45 rpm records were yellow in color but were soon changed to black vinyl.
